Where we work
31 towns across the Wichita metro
Out of Wichita, across 6 counties. The interesting part is that these towns are not all drinking the same water. Wichita blends a reservoir with an aquifer. Several of the surrounding towns run their own supply entirely. And plenty of the properties out past the mains are on a private well, where the water is nobody’s question but the owner’s. Here is everywhere we go.

County
Sedgwick County, KS
Wichita and the ring of towns around it. The city blends Cheney Reservoir surface water with Equus Beds groundwater and its Aquifer Storage and Recovery project, so what reaches a tap here is a mix rather than one source.
Sedgwick water treatmentCounty
Butler County, KS
Andover, Augusta and El Dorado on the east side. Separate systems from Wichita's, and plenty of acreage out here on a private well.
Butler water treatmentCounty
Harvey County, KS
Newton, Halstead and Sedgwick to the north. Their own supplies, drawn from the same Equus Beds the city draws from.
Harvey water treatmentCounty
Cowley County, KS
Winfield and Udall to the south east. Different county, different water, and worth checking rather than assuming.
Cowley water treatmentCounty
Sumner County, KS
Wellington and the southern edge of the run. Own supply, and a long way from Wichita's treatment.
Sumner water treatmentCounty
Reno County, KS
Hutchinson, the far north west end. Its own system entirely and the longest drive we make.
